DAY 01

Overnight stay at Negombo

Ayubowan Sri Lanka! Upon arriving in Sri Lanka you will get welcome gifts and many more from WALK IN LANKA Tours. That is the starting step of our kindness hospitality. In same time you will meet chauffer guide who shall take you whole tour by air conditioned vehicle.

After that we will transfer to the Negombo. Visit the North West coastal town of Negombo with its sun-kissed beaches, watersports, catamarans and fishing villages. Experience Negombo’s colonial architectural heritage including Portuguese period Catholic churches, ruins of the Dutch Fort and cemetery, and boat rides along centuries Old Dutch Canals.

DAY 02 & 03

Overnight stay at Dambulla / Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa (Free One day Sri Lankan Traditional Lunch)

Check out after breakfast and proceed to Dambulla and check into hotel.
Evening proceed on a village tour. It is a maximum three hour program designed to experience the real traditional Sri Lankan rural village style, consisting of Travel in a Bullock cart to a rural village through lush green paddy fields where you will be served tea and ” juggery” along with lunch made to authentic Sri Lankan style. Traditional cooking methods, and a visit to a paddy field to see how the local farmers protect their crops from the wild animals, will be demonstrated. Finally proceed on a traditional canoe ride in a lake in Habarana.

Next Day, after breakfast visit the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya with a magnificent view of the surroundings (optional – you may rent bikes for a walk in the countryside). It is also famous for its frescoes, such as the frescoes of the Demoiselles, dream creatures between goddesses and princesses.

Thereafter proceed to Polonnaruwa for sightseeing. En route stopover in Habarana for a short elephant back ride. On completion proceed to Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms, Polonnaruwa was first declared the capital city by King Vijayabahu I, who defeated the Chola invaders in 1070 to reunite the country once more under a local leader. The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage Site.

Thereafter proceed to Minneriya on an exciting Jeep Safari. Minneriya National Park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee districts. Some reports account number of elephants to as high as 700. Tourists visit Minneriya largely because of elephants, especially in dry season.

DAY 04

Overnight stay at Kandy

After that we will transfer to Kandy and commence an evening city tour of Kandy including Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha – by far the most important place of worship for Buddhists world over, Upper Lake drive a place where one could have a bird’s eye view of the city below.

DAY 05 & 06

Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya (Little England)

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya. Our way will Knuckles Mountain range. The Knuckles Mountain range takes its name from a series of recumbent folds and peaks in the west of the massif which resembles the knuckles of clenched fist when viewed from certain locations in the Kandy District. At higher elevations there is a series of isolated cloud forests, harboring a variety of flora and fauna, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Bird life abounds in this forest. Seventeen of the 23 endemic species of Sri Lanka birds are found here among the 128 species recorded so far in this area.

Also visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to witness the manufacturing process of world famous “Ceylon Tea” and to taste a pure un-blended cup of factory fresh tea.

Also pass by eye-catching views with waterfalls. Evening city tour of Nuwara Eliya including Victoria Park, Gregory Lake and Golf Course, the 119 year old club is situated within the city limits. Established in 1891, one of Asia’s finest Golf Club.

Next Day, after the breakfast we will proceed to Horton Plains and commence walking inside the Park. Horton plains national park is undoubtedly one of the world’s best nature reserves. The park is also home to a wide variety of flora and 24 species of mammal such as elk, deer, giant squirrel, wild boar, wild hare, porcupine and leopard. For bird enthusiasts, there 87 species (14 of which are endemic), including many migratory birds. The Plains also feature many interesting attractions such as ‘Bakers Falls’, ‘Chimmini Pool’ and the famous ‘World’s End’.

DAY 07 & 08

Overnight stay at Bentota Beach

After breakfast leave for Bentota. On completion proceed to Bentota a tourist resort in the south with the most beautiful, wide and sandy beaches.

Next Day, Blissfully spend your time as you wish whether it be indulging in fine spa treatment or relaxing by the beautiful Indian Ocean. This beach is the best please for relax with your partner and fall in love may more. Keep the days memorable. It’s your Love.

Enjoy shopping in the colorful bazaars to take home lots of souvenirs, artifacts and Sri Lanka delights. Finally you will checkout of the hotel and transfer to the airport.
